By 1956, the North Scott Community School District was established and by the late 1960s, the population had grown to more than 1,000 residents! With the creation of several industrial parks to encourage new business development, the city continued its upward trajectory, and today remains a still-thriving community with over 6,000 residents and businesses living, working, expanding, and exploring together.
Because of its proximity to both Davenport, Moline, and East Moline, Eldridge is basically a part of the Quad Cities.
